[2015 Fall] Providence Phoenix Redesign

  • Providence Phoenix was a free weekly newspaper, and stopped publishing in 2013 due to finacial problem. 
     
    Our assignment was to analyze the feature of Providence Phoenix and redesign the publication in a finacially sustainable and also asthetically pleasing way. My strategy is to have two versions published each week, so that there are less ads in each version, targeting different audience, and some sections, for example, books and films, are also edited for different user groups. The pink version is for younger group from 17-30, and th blue version is for 30 and up.
