Online marketing can be tough to learn and get right.  Each year many set out to make their fortune online.  But, very few succeed or every get it right. 
 
Also, many others will spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on training programs trying to learn how to market online.  Many of these people will never make any money online either. 
 
But then, there are the select few who will learn how to properly market on the internet and make huge amounts of money. 
 
So, what sets these people apart.  What makes one succeed, while the other person fails?
 
Well one idea is, persistence is what sets them apart.  While some think what really sets them apart is smarts or brain power. 
 
But, it really can be a little bit of both.  Someone who is not that smart can learn to market online with the right training and the attitude of never giving up. 
 
It’s like the old Rocky mentality, try and try until you make it. 
 
What many people end up doing is going from one opportunity to the next.  This is one of the real reasons while many do not ever learn how to make money on the internet.
 
They are always looking for the next opportunity or next secret that can make them rich.
 
While the whole truth of the matter is, focus is the real power to learning and have online business success with things like affiliate marketing.   
 
While there are many new ways people do develop, to sell online.  It really only comes down to a few ways. 
 
Some of these are seo, email, ppc just to name a few.
 
When you take the time to really learn just one thing that has been proven to work, then you stand a better chance at actually having success. 
 
The worst thing anyone can do with online marketing or even in life is putting focus on too many things all at once and never mastering anything. 
 
If you take a close look at some of the world’s most successful companies, you will see it’s usually one product they have which produces all of their revenue. 
 
Companies like Microsoft, has windows, Apple has the iPhone and Google has AdWords. 
 
Not it’s not to say these companies would go under if they didn’t have these products, but you can bet they wouldn’t be as big as they are.
 
So, focus is the real key to success to making it online.
