Poetry book created based on three poems by Charles Simic. This book is sequenced to begin with the poem "Stone," followed by "Matches," and concludes with "Mirrors at 4 A.M." There is a dreamlike quality to the poems which take the reader deeper into a surreal state as you turn the pages. This book conveys the idea of falling deeper into a dream through shapes that are hand-cut and laser-cut which descend deeper into the book as the stories are told. The typography is done through the process of digital offset printing silver ink onto black paper, to further create an intimate dream-like experience for the reader.
