Bunny and Chicky
KNITTING PATTERN DESIGN BY AMANDA BERRY

This little Bunny and Chicky are quick to knit Easter gifts, and make a sweet alternative to chocolate and candy.    

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, both toys are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 5) 

RECOMMENDED YARN
Hayfield Bonus DK yarns in grey, white and yellow shades
Double knitting/light worsted weight, 100% acrylic
One 100g/280m skein in each colour will be more than adequate

NOTIONS
Toy filling (several handfuls)
A darning or tapestry needle for seaming
Beads for eyes and white felt fabric to back them 
Yellow and black embroidery thread (or yarn) to add the nose and beak 

SIZES
One size only - The finished bunny is approximately 14cm tall (including the ears), and the chick is 6.5cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
