Luna was conceived as an interactive project in which an orb would respond with increasing or decreasing luminosity, depending on the proximity of the person. It was my desire to see human energy reflected in glass and light; taking an aspect of the micro and attempting to bring it into the macro, while still maintaining an intimate experience with the object. The piece reflects an internal energy of uncertainty until the presence of the person is completed revealed. Only then would Luna would become comfortable and show her true vibrancy. In the end, this project took on a life of its own, referencing celestial bodies more than the one to one human experience.

(For this project I was syphoning three different softwares: Arduino, Max/Msp/Jitter, and Resolume Arena)
