In this project, we need to design a publication to put three articles on modernism together, and show the relationship between the opinions of the authors. The three articles are 'LONG LIVE MODERNISM!' by Massimo Vignelli, 'Rethinking Modernism, Revising Functionalism' by Katherine McCoy and 'Zombie Modernism, It Lives!' by Jeffery Keedy.
I designed a double sided accordion, and when different edges of the pages are folded to touch, the titles create different meanings to what they appear to be when completely folded. The changing of the typography also reflects the changing from Modernism to Postmodernism, and to Zombie Modernism.
The whole piece can also unfold to be a poster.
