Warrior's Dagger

The project started when Isaw some Kenyan sculptures with weapons used a long time ago for protection andhad an Idea. I saw some scrap metal that was used for a bank construction andcreated this dagger. The Blade was made of stain less steel not sure about thegauge. It was extreme tough and was used in the construction of the Bank Safeitself so I had find a piece that I would just need to shape instead of cutpieces out. It took me almost 20 hours to shape the blade. The blade was fittedbefore it was finished on to the handle first added the aluminum guard piecethen heated the nails and hammered them through the handle into the blade. Thehandle and sheath are made of left over Mahogany wood stained black to give ita look of ebony. The sheath and handle is wrapped with thin white cotton ropethen finished with matte finish using polyurethane. The dagger was given beatup look to give a used appearance giving it a story to tell. A history infantasy of the dagger.
