This project brief was to create a piece of furniture, in this instance a chair, that could be easily transported, stored and used on demand in an educational enviroment. The chair had to be made from a singe piece of metal, this being our choosing.
The brief was set with the intention for us to build a manufacture / contact database for the sorts of processes that getting these designs cut, stamped etc. actually costs and how the number of unitsd can affect the pricing of the design.

We were put into groups of 5. The design above I had created and put forward to the group, which happened to be chosen for the final design. The idea was that the design was flat and laid-out like a packaging NET. This way the design can be constructed through folding by the user on sight.
