• By looking at the observable phenomena of lava flows, I was inspired by the oozing power that defines the flow. Easily overtaking any landscape transforming it to a craggy and luminous surface.  By silk screen printing repeating patterns I was able to create two distinct surfaces, one of the hot lava flow and the other of rocky surface. 
  • The ideal installation would have been along the Providence River, the colors of the factory accentuating the tones of work. 
  • Table dyeing semi-transparent fabric, using red and yellow tones to create lava like luminosity. 
  • Hand dyed thick canvas, printed with rock texture for final piece
