The idea was simple create a site for Honydo, however after thinking of it the execution was harder than I thought.

 

The Problem: There is no 'web' visual identidy, beyond the logo, fonts, and colors, Honydo has only lived on mobile screens. Also Honydo has so many good features, how would I beable to narrow it down?

The Solution: Create a responsive site that is not only imformatitive, engaging and simple. But a site that is... Honydo.

The idea was to start off with how Honydo helps you out.

 

Off the bat I decide that the most important feature of Honydo is the Indoor Navigation. Since Honydo is meant to democratize Indoor Navigation

I wanted to then follow up with the shopping lists—since they fall hand-in-hand woth the indoor naviagtion. For the lsits I wanted to show off the screens but also feature why they are different.

Hony is tantamount to rewards points. However, I wanted to highlight that they are not just some point they are a way of life and a medium of trade. Thus I highlighted just some of the things you can get from Hony.

The next main feature is Store Map Quality, not every stoe is mapped the same, thus, to provide the users the upmost conveince Honydo offers levels of map quality for stores. Becasue you deserve to know what you are getting into.

Honydo is not jsut a means of shopping better—it is a new way to shop. Anyone can use Honydo and no matter what your backgorund is it is all the same as long as you Honydo.

The goal ofThis is I wanted to focus on what Honydo stands for. This would be a link to one of our videos about who we are, why we do what we do, etc. I wanted to infrom people about what the main goal behind Honydo is.

 

The production site for Honydo mixes the brand values of Honydo, along with the initail ideas presented and ideated upon in the Mockup. The initial site was built using HTML/CSS/JS with the Foundry Theme by Medium Rare. Set in various weights of Avenir Next, supplied with photos from Unsplash.com, Pixbay.com, Death to Stockphoto, and Graphic Burger. Honydo was coded in 3 weeks and done in Atom.

Honydo was not an easy site to code. Yes I had a theme, however I had to scrap everything but the framework and build myself a new site.

I wanted to capture the utilitarian feel of the app but for the site to do this I expanded on my orginal design guilines and inclued a modified version for the web.
