Inspired by James Victore’s social and political illustrations, I combined images cut from gun magazines with my own drawings to create a satirical comment on a controversy that divides a nation.
This series of illustrations considers the highly contentious issue of gun control in the USA. But rather than replicating the horrors of violence, I have allowed a sense of irony to guide my pen, as I searched through the history of this extremely difficult issue.
