The opening title sequence has the potential to be the key moment of the film and offers the first images that the audience sees when the lights go down in the room. This video is a re-imagined title sequence for Persona by Ingmar Bergman. Persona is a modernist film involving two women, or maybe one, that is both sensual and strikingly minimal, but has a subtle horror element. Using originally shot footage and delicate use of typography, I re-imagined the concepts of mirroring, transparency, and the physicality of film which can be seen in Persona.
