Brief: Create and build a full scale birdhouse model for a particular bird and do reserach defining the species.

 

For this project I wanted to create something that would reflect the Native American's views on the barn swallow. Back then these birds were seen as a good luck charm to the Natives and today they are seen as a pest. The barn swallows make unpleasant-looking bird houses, so I wanted to make something beautiful that not only reflected Native American culture, but also build a birdhouse that could protect them from predators.
