Is Your Child Color Blind?

This is a block game that has a goal of finding out whether the player has color blindness (or color vision deficiency) or not. It specifically targets those with red-green colorblindness, the most common form of color vision deficiency out there.

Color blindness does not means that one can only see in black and white. They can see colors, but certain colors appear washed out and are easily confused with other colors, depending on the type of color vision deficiency they have. For example, reds and greens will appear similar to him when they are close to one another, but most can still see true red and true green, depending on each person's level of color vision deficiency.

The purpose of this game is to notify parents whether their child is color blind or not, because it can affect how a child learn and interact with things. Even though there is no cure to color blindness, knowing that your child is colorblind will help the parents motify their child's everyday life. For example, knowing that color-coding is not the way their child can learn is very important to them both at home and at school.
This game comes with a manaul with information on color blindness and different exercises children can follow using the colored blocks. From those exercises, the parents can observe the results, which will help them determine if their child is colorblind or not. That is through playing with the blocks and repititively creating the same mistakes. Those mistakes are such as, switching places of a gray and a light pink, or dark red and dark green. There are 8 groups of colors and they come in 4 pairs: pink vs gray, dark red vs dark green, orange-red vs green, blue vs purple.
