The Pechakucha Night Series is a non profitable event conceived by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham (Klein Dytham Architecture), that began in 2003 in Tokyo with the objective of creating a platform where young professionals, from different creative fields, could gather, meet and publicly present their work. The unusual format, 20x20, 20 images with 20 seconds each, promotes a fluid speech, maintaining the audience interested and giving the opportunity to more people, to present their work.
At this moment there are 452 cities worldwide that share the Pechakucha Nights.
