Oxford Joins with Harvard, Peking University

Maarten de Jeu, founder and managing partner of SVM Business Advisory in Chicago, has experience advising middle market firms on business development and on mergers and acquisitions. Holding a master of business administration from the University of Oxford Said Business School, Maarten de Jeu continues to support his alma mater as an alumnus.

Recently, Said Business School announced a new partnership with Harvard Business School and the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University. The three institutions will collaborate on an executive education program targeting family firms in China. Launched in early September 2015, the program, entitled Leading and Transforming Family Businesses--China, will last for five months, with classes held in Beijing, Oxford, and Boston.

Over the course of the program, participants will attend lectures and engage in field-based learning that focus on managing Chinese family firms, handling succession issues, and competing in a global marketplace. The program will be in Chinese and feature access to experts in a number of fields, including corporate culture and international expansion.
