This project was completed as a team with two fellow students during my studies in France. The aim was to create a food product, brand and packaging using the seafood Crepidule. As team leader we took an Irish influence. We included the crepidule in a tradtional irish dish - the potatoe 'boxty'. This was the starting point to our recipe which we then developed to enhance the flavours of the seafood Crepidule. We finished with a potatoe fish cake which would be served stacked with vegetables.
Outer packaging was designed as a wrap around piece to make it cost effective but still keep a prenium feel. Graphics are minimal and speak of freshness
Durng our research into Irish Hertigage and Myths we came across a Gorgan which became the main inspiration for our brand logo and identity.
This is our completed prototype for a new fish food product - Crepidule Irish Fish Cakes
