Paella Pop Up Event in the Brunswick Street Mall

What a unique day THIS this was!
The Pod in the Brunswick Street Mall is a converted shipping container setup outside the Commonwealth Bank in the Brunswick St Mall Fortitude Valley.

Myself, Miss Synthetique & Taylor Ette took it over for the day to promote the Moda Events Portside 2015 NYE event. DJ Kitty Glitters tunes were playing in the background to set the mood, Co-Owner and Chef de Cuisine Javier Codina cooked authentic Spanish paella live for passers by to enjoy.

The smell was bliss and the atmosphere just exploded with fun!
I organised the Facebook and Instagram advertising for this event to have a short & sharp lead up. It was designed to get people so curious they simply had to check it out
Fantastic setup that was colourful and fun (with great ventilation!)
Table setup and ready to go... Nautical inspired bottles of Chandon certainly do grab ones attention :)
Props for selfies, Wi Fi Hot spot setup so that people could buy tickets online from ipad with discount code or they could fill out via booking form and I had EFTpos terminal to take payments directly on the spot
Javier starts the paella creating
So beautiful, colourful, fragrant AND delicious!
Themed cooking area :)
Miss Synthetique & Taylor Ette were dressed perfectly to support our Cruise Carnivale theme, they were on fire for creating fun for anyone who visitted over the day
Selfie time with new friends and ourselves :)

Such a busy day :)
Lots of chatting & tickets + fun leaves a messy table behind at the end... As such is the events industry!
