Global Airplane Blocks was a project I did for my digital drawing class. The object was to design a set of blocks that had a global theme and show them in use.
Each plane is made up of three blocks that fit together with pegs and holes. The parts of all the planes can be mixed and matched.
These are all of the planes included in the set. A picture like this would be included so that kids have an example set to follow.
The blocks are part of a set that comes with city blocks, a weather block, and a play mat that looks like a map of the earth. Kids can be taught where the city blocks belong on the map and learn a little geography as they play.
Kids can also place or roll the weather block to decide the weather.
All the planes have parts that can mix and match, so kids can follow the example pictures of the planes or they can put pieces together however they wish.
All of the parts can fit into a suitcase shaped box for easy storage.
