If our images could speak, how would they sound? What if we could compose music by drawing and coloring? 

Using Processing, I wrote a program that would scan a digital image and translate, in real time, its amounts of red, green, and blue pixels into different sound wave frequencies. The video shows a test of this "instrument." This particular run uses an image I created in Photoshop especially for this test, but this program can “play” any image—all it needs is color and shape!
