This sculpture was commissioned in honor of Meredith, for her memorial Garden for Inspration at the D&R Greenway in Princeton, NJ. It is a focal point on a terrace that teems with indigenous plantings. "Light, airy, femine, with movement" and a theme of the butterfly were my directives. This twelve foot tall stainless steel sculpture has 150 waterjet cut bronze butterflies which look like leaves, or blooms along Amelancher inspired branches which wave gently in the breeze.
