Aluminium exploration: dual layered hinged tessellated planes.
The two layers expland and contract to opposite rotary motions. Stretch cord are used to emphasize the relationship between the extremes of each individual aluminium plate. 

Brass rivets are used as hinges and protection for the stretch cord.

Each individual aluminum plate rotates around a central axis. Stretchcord connecting the corners of the plate emphasize the rotational movement.
