The Long Wait (24x36'', chalk pastel)
The second before actors or actresses enter the stage is probably the longest second for them on the Earth. The drawing is inspired by such mental long wait. The play on the stage is from a famous Chinese Opera "The fourth son of Yang Faimly secretly visit his mother"(四郎探母). This moment depicts the fourth son of General Yang Family finally gets to see his mother after 10 years of being prison and serving for the enemy country. It is a long wait for Yang as well.
