Cleve Backster’s experiment example:

„At the moment when he thought
»I want to burn a leaf« plant reacted violently, the pen moved and made a dramatic jump.”

Our goal is to show organic forms - plants, presented as a living and sentient organisms. Bright, pulsating structures mapped on the plant are intended to show the plant as a living things. The struc ture clearly responds to human touch by light strength, speed and density of movement. Also, the sound seems to be more intense. We want in a gentle way show the relationship between man and the world of plants. We are dependent on each other and draw each other energy, despite the lack of visual effects that relationship. We are exposing them and lean on the stationary organisms to observe the processes taking place in them and reactions to the presence of people.

Inspiration:
Plant perception or biocommunication is the paranormal idea that plants are sentient, that they respond to humans, and that they experience pain and fear. The idea was not accepted, as plants lack a ner vous system. This idea is distinct from measured plant perception and chemical communication.

Software:
MAX/msp + Processing (programming language) + Pro Tools (sound editing)
