On the 5th of December the Cavern Club of Liverpool is hosting an event for one night only in respective honour of the greatest musicians to ever grace the planet. Four local lads; John, Paul, George and Ringo, The Beatles would not only rise to international stardom from their 10 years of unparalleled pop success but would change the way music is created for decades to come.

 

50 years from 4 is a tribute night running from 4:00pm – 10:00pm at the Cavern Club of Liverpool. With a limited supply of tickets; 200 fortunate fans, tourists or likeminded locals will get the chance to see ‘The Upbeat Beatles” (tribute band) perform 6 of the most iconic Beatles Albums played in a consecutive chronological order to emphasize the evolution of their sound and to symbolize the dramatic contrast the effects of their lifestyles had on their music.

 

The Upbeat Beatles will kick the night off at 4:00pm with the album ‘With the Beatles’ one of the Fab Four’s first albums, and will then play ‘A Hard Days Night’, with the local ‘Hard Days Night’ Hotel playing the album in honour from 5:00pm – 6:00pm. The gig will rock into ‘Rubber Soul’ until 7:00pm where there will be a 30 minute break where enthusiasts can grab a bite to eat from the open buffet and gain insight into the history of the band with a 30 minute documentary played on stage.

 

From 7:30pm to 10:30pm there will be an open bar where everyone can enjoy 3 more albums (Revolver, Yellow Submarine and Abbey Road) and can then meet and greet the tribute band from 10:30pm – 11:00pm.

 

There will be animated albums covers that will be played behind the band to show the evolution of their sound, purely for the viewing pleasure of the ticketholders. Each of the album covers has been carefully animated to visually represent the sound of each specific album; from the gentle and faded sound of ‘With the Beatles’ to the ‘psychedelic sound of ‘Yellow Submarine’, starting from a blank canvas and finishing with final album cover emphasizing the progress that was made with each album.

 

Tickets will go on sale Monday 1st of December for 5 pounds (all profits will be going to the local charity Zoe’s Place) and tickets can be collected from the Cavern Club of Liverpool on the night. An adult must supervise anyone under the age of 18 and there is no pets allowed.
