This urban design studio project took a large site in the suburbs of Oxford – in Botley - . We were asked to produce a set of design strategies for incorporating new programs of either housing or commercial in this soon to be revamped mixed use centre. The site is on the edge of an existing city andall projects produced from this studio will be proposed to the Botley city council for any possible approvals .

We name this project as ''Retrofitting Suburbia''
Retrofit - add (a component or accessory) to something that did not have it when manufactured.
Any retrofit in this suburbia area will affect quality of life of the residents.Our group particularly focuses on managing the relationship between a sensitive ecology with the needs of sustainable development.
