This was a small project where I was tasked with redesigning a logo for a band of my choice. I've alwaysed be a fan of Muse but was excited to take on the logo for myself.
At the time I was enjoying a lot of vectorised hand drawn type on Instagram and thought of trying it for myslef. The idea behind this was to have a simple logo that felt like a signature. I didn't want it to be perfect; I wanted something that seemed like it was quickly hand done. Something with character. The colours come from the synthesised electronic feel that all their music shares.
This alternative was a completely different approach to the first. I wanted to have symmetry and exact straight lines. I tried to make this seem both 3D and flat, like a basic illusion.
Finally, a simple visualisation of the logo on products.
