This is my inspirational poster/ digital art poster. I chose Van gogh as my artist inspiration for my digital art as he had a very specific style in his paintings and I thought that it would be interesting to try and replicate his style. My main inspiration from Van gogh was from one of his most acclaimed paintings 'Starry Night'.
In order to create the same effect on the sky as that of 'Starry Night' I used the liquify tool and moved my mouse in circular motions over the sky. This eventually started to look very similar to the sky in the famous painting.
In another layer I added the poster edges filter which created a sort of painting effect on the image.
I then darkened the sky which created the dark blue sky in the final piece.
