studioesque.com is the home for a fictional fashion brand named Esque. It has come out with a new F/W collection titled A Collection For The Modern Fangirl*. This Collection was inspired primarily by One Direction fangirl culture and their large capacity for emotional devotion. The clothing is meant for the fangirl to be able to become subdued within the reality of modern culture, while simultaneously expressing some degree of affection towards their beloved pop star. The concept for this website originally came out of the desire to change the way society views fangirls. I wished to rebrand the fangirl, changing both their aesthetic and their perceived societal significance. Depicting fangirls in this sort of professional, sleek, and modern manner will hopefully alter our negative perceptions of them.
