Conceptual design of a luminary for a contest made by the Swedish company Aura Light.

Design made at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid that was part of a contest made with all the students of Industrial Design Engineer of the university, addressed by the company Aura Light. This company asked just for a concept design without any technical requirement. This project came as one of the twelve finalists out of a list of almost forty designs.
The design was based on a bamboo field, the different lights have three different heights as well as two different cylindrical dimensions. These different dimensions and the and the threaded design of its limbs made it easy for the user to change the composition of the lamps. The idea was to have a modular lamp that could change over time. This luminaire was designed to enhance different atmosphere, but not as a unique source of light.
