These are samples of BEFORE and AFTER images restored for the D. Landreth Seed Company. Landreth has many volumes of timeless and irreplaceable catalog imagery but, none of the art is original, it is all printed and housed in bound volumes for preservation purposes. In addition to restoration of old, printed images the scanning process creates multiple challenges due to the bound nature of the volumes in which the catalogs reside. Althought the challenges are many, the results are well worth the effort. Having the skillset to bring these priceless images back to life is rewarding on both professional and personal levels. The subject matter provides infinite inspiration and working with my partner, Barb Melera, in the devlopment and promotion of this wonderful brand is a pure joy.
