Sundew LED Street Lamp
This project employed the use of Biomimicry as the beginning point for a practical every day use product. Deciding on a more commercial approach, this project focuses a street lamp concept inspired by the Sundew carnivorous plant. The form of the street lamp captures the unique shape of the Sundew as it begins to envelop its prey within beads of sweet water. This streetlight attracts pedestrians in with its LED glass light tubes, offering a bright and energy efficient solution to public environments.
