The concept of the screen took birth from a sculpture’s divine beauty. A sculpture comprises one plane merging into another. It is a perfect combination of grooves, mounds and seamless planes. To capture the change in planes, the idea slicing a sculpture came into being. A simple sculpture sliced in equal pieces and all the pieces kept at an equal distance to create a simple front elevation with dramatic side elevations. Individual pieces with different planes were brought together to create the outcome instead of actually slicing a sculpture.
