A collection of saris and scarfs
The elements of Kanchipuram saris like the lines, checks, bright colours and motifs become an important part of the mood board. Few images in the collage represent the traditional designs, where the motif is the dominating part and the other images serve as a colour, texture and pattern reference for the collection. To make the collection more contemporary, the elements like stripes, checks and the temple motifs were chosen.Cotton yarn of 1 / 60 s count have been used in the collection for warp and weft for the sari.
