Intepros Consulting - Full corporate website redesign
Over the years I've had the good fortune to cosult for a few companies that I've made lasting relationships with, especially during my time in Grad school. After working at WGBH Public Broadcasting through Intepros Consulting, I was approached by their VP of Marketing to rebuild their corporate public-facing website. In essence, they needed someone to create from scratch an entirely new online brand for them.
Project Role
I headed the entire project, from UX Design to social media strategy to SEO to even programming on their CMS (Joomla).
Research and Brainstorming
After speaking with the business stakeholders and getting their ideas for the website, I dug into researching the best strategies for creating a design that will fulfill their corporate needs. The site had two primary user bases: people looking for jobs and companies looking to hire people for jobs. The site had to attract those two key groups while also sending Intepros' corporate message.
This broke down to focusing on online corporate branding, social media strategies, User Interface design, Information Architecture, User Requirement Research, and Usability Testing. Persona's were generated that reflected prospective users, helping to direct the process.
Wireframes
After the IA and interface design was established, an Information Architecture flowchart was then created to show site navigation. Furthur revisions to the site included specific improvements to the responsive design, including a more fleshed-out mobile version of the site.
The wireframe reflected the overall Information Architecture and User Interface layout, especially with the home page emphasizing the three tenets that best promoted the company: What we do, Who we are, Why we are different.

Final product
The site was released and very well received. The new design resulted in a tripling of site visitors as well as an increase in user engagement (conversion), with users spending far more time at the new site than the old one.
