In 2013, I interviewed 15 women of color artists asking about their experiences, triumphs, struggles, within their creative process. As a woman of color artist I felt that I rarely heard stories about artists like me. With this project, I finally got to talk to female artists of color and feel that I had connected to them and their stories. This is the booklet I created to promote and highlight some of the more important moments from each individual interview. Each image is drawn by me.
