I am the God of Nonentity

My BA in Design Degree project called "I am the God of Nonentity" is an exercise to communicate abstract concepts in a medium that best articulates them. The leitmotif of this work was the phenomena of Spirituality/Esotericism in everyday life. What intrigued me the most was the diverse perception concerning this topic. Sceptics or "Critical thinkers", who base their beliefs on rational and scientific foundations often disagree with the "Wishful thinkers", who tear down the importance of proof with relenting desire. Since nothing can be considered only black and white, the majority of the people stay in the multi-faceted "grey area". Awareness was the driving force behind this project. How does the expression of one’s spirituality determine his preferences and choices in life?

In the written documentation, you can trace my attempt to understand what the "inner spiritual needs" are and how people manage to fulfill them. By asking 124 survey participants 6 essential questions I collected personal experiences. It was my aim to translate the received authenticity into
an exhibition. The visitor was then invited not only to reflect on the topic itself, but also to peek into the innermost of a stranger.
