Intro to Architecture: Site & Space; Fall 2009
The atrium space of Smith College's Hillyer Art Building is a multifunctional space. The space serves as an intervention between Smith College Museum of Art and the Art Library/Department.
In this introductory studio class I observed and analyzed its spatial significance by producing a series of drawing: floor plan, sections, perspectives, and architectural orders. These were all drawn free-hand.
The physical model was constructed to visualize the entire space of the atrium.
