Design Approach A: Aggregating and Accumulating Shapes and Volumes
Model 1: Extending, wrapping, folded chipboard hooks connect based on extending tabs. The aggregation of these components produces a central void or passage with smaller openings between the ground plane and initial components.
Model 2: Ascending repeating overlapped four-sided triangular shapes connect based on a set of aggregating drawings. The shapes are scaled, shifted, overlapped, and repeated in several dimensions to remove a sense of orientation.
Design Approach B: Extracting and Subdividing Shapes and Volumes.
Model 3: A deconstructed foam cube is rebuilt according to new triangularly shaped components. The arrangement of new components resulted in skyward ascention and a centralized void that is further subdivided by disrupting folding chipboard.
