For this class project, we were tasked with taking grains of our choice and create a knockdown packaging system for it. I chose to package three different kinds of rice. Oryza is the scientific genus name for rice - which is how I got the name for my company. My color choices were taken from the rices that I picked - brown rice, volcano rice, and thai sticky purple rice. And because rice is such a humble grain, I wanted the wholesome, healthy, and earthy vibe from the rice to be reflected in my package design. Rice isn't a complicated product and is easy to cook, and I wanted my packages to highlight that.
