Open Studios is a community art event that takes place every 6 months. Artists across San Francisco open their studio doors to give the public a first hand glimpse into their studio and their latest work. Representing a community of 70+ artists in the heart of the Mission, I designed several email announcements for Studio 17. Created as a free and easy way for the artists to promote Open Studios, this was my way of giving back to the community I was a part of for years, also it made for a good excuse to experiment with custom type.
