Cactus Bread is a fast-paced, top-down shooter, created by me as a Capstone project for my undergraduate degree at Sacred Heart University. Cactus Bread tells the story of Ryen, a lone husband of a famous breakmaker, who desperately fights through hordes of bread themed robots to save his wife from the sinister Pam Pumpernickel. 

The game was written in C# using Microsoft's XNA library.

The game uses pixel-based simplistic graphics everywhere except for the cutscenes which were outsourced to another artist. 
Below are the bosses Pam and the Boss Toaster. Both of them have a unique attack compared to the regular enemies, massive health, and are required to be defeated to move on.
Ryen is the next sheet, showing all his motions and death animation.
In descending order: Power up, Cutscene shot for the last level, Sample menu button, and Control Scheme.
