Performative Environments

DESCRIPTION:
Performative Environments was a semester-long graduate design and prototyping studio held at the Stevens Institute of Technology Product Architecture Lab, Spring 2009.
The ambition of Performative Environments was to examine parametric modeling environments for their potential as interactive space modulators. Throughout the semester students developed digital, as well as analog prototypes to interface with various forms of environmental inputs.
The studio was conducted through a series of parallel lectures, technical sessions, and a series of group installations. The studio culminated in an exhibition of the students' research at the Center for Architecture in New York City.
