A self-initiated project about traveling as an escape.
The purpose of the project is to share the experience of traveling by capturing the simple motion of an aeroplane taking off. This moving image was completed in a Color and Portfolio course on my last year at Rhode Island School of Design. The illustration was later documented on a digital device (iPhone 6) to sample the graphic on a mobile platform, resulting in the posters below.
The original illustration is 5"x7.25" and made with pen and ink on paper, and watercolor. The animated version can be experienced on my website via this link.
