For this project we were required to design a building for the Architectural Engineering Facualty, on the Pennsylvania State University Campus, which was ‘in line with’ the existing University masterplanning framework.
The intent was to design a buidlng which had a structurally simple but expressive facade, that would, create a new building ‘language’ on the camppus.
This aim of this design is to provide an environment where Architectural Engineering students could learn from, as the building would be an active showcase for the topics covered within their academic syllabus.
