We were asked to design a new channel, create the brand guidelines and design an ident. We were given a choice of multiple subjects to base our channel on, I chose self sufficiency.
Mission Statment
Our channel caters for all ages, from young children who want to be more creative, to the older generation who want to adopt a different lifestyle. We are unique in the TV industry and provide many self sufficiency programmes to encourage people to be creative and funcional. We aim to think BIG and are always passionate and determined.
Logo
The logo is based on 1950's signage which represents the recycling and upcycling side of the channel. The circle could also be percieved as the link to recycling too. With the circle and the text almost cut out with the drop shadow, it has a stamp/stencil feel to it linking to the arts and crafts within the channel.
