I worked closely with Peachtree Audio and Circal Engineering on the Shift product. Both these companies were an absolute pleasure to work with and both really understood how and where design could benefit the development process. Suissa Design was brought into the project right at the onset when little more than 'We have a technology' was in the brief. Working with Circal Engineering we were able to adjust elements of the physical design and the circuit board design and layout so there would be no surprises later on in development.

We were able to adjust mounting bosses as well as combine functionality in order to reduce the required space inside the case. The brief left us with so little room that just about everything inside the case had to do double or tripple duty.

Once I got the parts from the printer, one set went to Circal Engineering for fitment of the electronics. The other was used by me to adjust elements based on real world parts. A final set of prints was made and one set was detailed out by myself to look like the final product. This was not just a model, but had all the final functionality built in.
