The Outcome.
As a life long Manchester United fan, my take on the match day program was never going to be one that favoured the blue side of Manchester in any way! The thinking behind the two designs was based around a memorable, history making moment between the two teams. Michael Owens last minute winner, Roy Keane's career ending tackle or City's 6-1 victory which i try to forget. Above all others for me was Wayne Rooney's overhead kick at Old Trafford.
I wanted my designs to be bold and illustrative, with an emphasis on originality. As alot of my work is, it is clean cut and simple, quickly telling the viewer everything they need to know about the piece.
