E150d - Design à reaction

E150 is a product exhibition for “Reactive Design” which took place for 5 weeks in Paris. The goal of this exhibition is to share different products that use material experimentations, chemicals, or physical reactions. Mimicking the shape of a modern soda can, the E150d container is a paradoxaly made of terracotta; a traditional material used during antiquity for amphora manufacturing. This material requires handcraft know-how and delivers a preservation of quality appropriate for its content. The gustative discovery of wine, in a recipe similar as a soda can, causes the consumer a sensitive reaction. This reaction is also transferred by the terracotta, which allows for a more pleasant grip than that of an aluminum folded soda can
