E.ON's philosphy for their customers was - “Use no more than you need; pay no more than you need”.
The rationale behind this strategy is the belief that E.ON UK will increase customer satisfaction and reduce churn, with a significant positive impact on customer lifetime value and NPS. 

E.ON UK wants to be recognised as a company that helps customers save energy by giving them the necessary tools to act on their own. Due to this, design and usability of the product becomes of great importance. What E.ON delivers must be easy, intuitive and desirable from a customer point of view. This proposition will directly compete with HIVE (British Gas), Nest and TADO.
